Each cameras we use to record your ceremony is connected to our discreetly placed control booth. From this position, Ron is able to control the movement and picture coming from each camera with a remote control. Picture from all three cameras is displayed on a digital screen and Ron is able to see exactly what each camera sees as it is happening. This allows him to edit your video in real-time and move the appropriate camera as needed to follow the motion and focus. When there is more than one thing happening at once, such as a soloist singing while the Bride and Groom are lighting their unity candles, Ron is able to film both at the same time and can then inlay one picture (the soloist, for example) inside that of the main image (the candle-lighting) to make it seem as if the viewer were actually there. This is called "Live Switching" and Ron is the only videographer in the State of Minnesota who uses this technology.
Live-switching between camera feeds and on-site editing enables us to quickly complete your video for your viewing! Post-production editing can be time-consuming and costly. Our exclusive Live-Switching and editing technique allows us to provide you with a high-quality DVD in a short amount of time. Grizzly Pro Live-Switching Interface
